However, if you understand the process and are aware of some of the best tools that make it considerably easier, a good search engine ranking is readily achievable even for the most inexperienced publishers. If you follow proven methods the results are predicatable and you will get huge amounts of free traffic to your site.

There are some keywords that you will never rank for. They are just too competitive and you could spend a life time trying to compete without success. Establishing low competition keywords which still generate reasonable amounts of traffic is therefore the first critical step to successful SEO. The Google Keyword tool is a good start, together with conventional Google searches to establish the number of competing pages. However, one problem with this is that you have no idea about how effective the SEO of competing sites is for that keyword and therefore whether you have chance of competing.

And that's it basically. If you follow these methods you will get free search engine traffic for your site. I know that these methods work as I use them myself and I can therefore say this with absolute certainty. And the great thing about them is that they don't take up too much of your time.

I have been writing about the Biker Lifestyle for years as a freelance writer and I have also been DJing Bike events for many years. I knew I wanted to bring the two together and do a Biker Style radio show right from the beginning. I had spoken with local stations in my area about doing a Biker radio show and each time the radio station either wanted lots of money up front or they just wanted nothing to do with a Biker radio show. The Biker market is what they call a niche Market and stations want shows that will appeal to everyone.

I knew that the motorcycle market was going to be tough. If I was to use regular radio station I was going to only be able offer the show to local Bikers and it would be a show that was on only at a certain time every week, so if you missed the show well that's it you missed it. This is not what I really wanted.

I wanted a show where Bikers from all over the world could listen in and be part of it. Being We are Bikers and never know where we will be at any given time I also wanted the Bikers to be able to listen to the show on their time schedule. The answer I knew was the Internet. But how to do it? I had no Idea.

I didn't have the cash to start my own Internet radio station. So I started looking into existing Internet stations. Again the same problems everyone wanted money upfront and the shows would only be on at a certain time! I knew there was a way to make this work I just did not know what it was!

The answer came during the Summer of 2008 when a guy from Florida called the Paisan sent me an email saying he had read some of my articles and he would like to interview me on his Internet radio show called Sundays Sauce Pot. I called him and after speaking to him I agreed to be on the show.

The show I did with the Paisan and his partner Danny Dawg was unforgettable and I had a great time. I developed a friendship with Danny Dawg and the Paisan. When I told them how I wanted to do my own Show for years they where happy to explain how I could do a show like theirs. The show would go Live at 8pm on Wednesdays and could be listen to from the beginning any time a person went to the website from any computer world wide 24 hours a day 7 days a week. This was perfect it was everything I had been looking for over 10 years! With help I figured out how to work every thing and the Biker Lowdown Radio Show was born.

I had originally planned on waiting to start the show in January as I wanted to make sure everything was perfect! Then I remembered nothing in life is perfect and I just started the show as is. The response the show has received has been beyond anything I could have hoped for and has really been overwhelming!

The Biker Lowdown chat room gets busier every week and it lets listeners know they are really a part of the show! My goals for the show is to be entertaining and let all who Ride know what is going on in the Motorcycle world at the same time. I am also working on a much larger more inter active website and I am getting ready to start having T-Shirts, Bumper Stickers and so much more to give out to my listens at events! Mentor Cory Rudl Or Hustler ?

All though it's standard practice with internet marketers, I still don't like when I pay my good money for a marketing course, and the author is trying to sell me a whole bunch of stuff inside it. I wouldn't mind so much if he didn't make profit from the items he's trying to sell me, but since it's very clear that he is profiting,

I did feel let down after finishing the materials I received from Corey Rudle.

It would be like if you bought a dvd movie at full price and there were commercials in it. You bought the movie purely for entertainment or education, and you paid extra to have no commercials, but you got them anyway.

Another thing about Corey Rudle is that after filling out an online application to be screened as a possible student, that is, he would mentor me personally,. A great many questions were asked of me, because he states he is selective and only looking for the best.

I submitted my request for consideration. Within 2 weeks I was called by his recruiting company to see if I qualified to mentor with Cory, as the online application stated would be my privilege.

To be considered for an immediate spot ,there were only 2 left at the time, I had to answer a number of personal financial questions and have $8,000.00 available via credit card immediately.

In my questioning, I learn that I am not really going to be Cory's personal student, but that I am going to be farmed off to one of his trained staff for mentoring.

Yes, I want to grow my business and yes, I use a mentor currently in my plan for business growth, but my personal mentor is the real deal. I talk to him and not his trainers. So, as you can imagine, I questioned what I had applied for, and how this now appeared to be a bait and switch for the $8,000.00. They also had the audacity to question my business strategy when they didn't know me from Adam and had no history with me.

I was not happy and told the recruiter that I personally thought what they were doing was unethical and that my customers would call me on the carpet for such antics. Then, I find out that the training I would receive would make me one of Cory's affiliates. No thanks. I don't think he has the best of everything on the web and now I question his truth in advertising.

Anyway, the recruiter suggested I talk to someone else, who was more the kind of mentor she thought I might be seeking. She said he came from a different place and was that money was the outcome of his philosophy and not the gist of it.

I later received a canned email from Cory asking me to do a phone call interview/conference with him. I declined by not responding.

I don't appreciate bait and switch tactics.

I think his marketing course has good information in it, but I suggest you shop around before you purchase. The course is priced at $200.00 and is good for beginners. His consulting is pricey at $1,500.00 an hour and his mentoring requires an $8000.00 down payment. I think you can do better.

On Tuesday, June 2, 2005 Corey Rudl passed away in a tragic car racing accident in California.

However, I want you to take just a few minutes to take stock of your situation and once and for all decide if working at home really is in your best interest.

First, and obviously, you have to have a job skill that is amenable to the at-home environment. If you trim poodles on the weekend and think you can turn it into a full-time at-home business, then look around. Do you live in a two-bedroom apartment on the second floor and just do your neighbor"s poodle once a month (but you do it really well)? Or do you live a four-bedroom ranch house with a three-car garage that can be made over into "Donna"s Clip Joint" and happen to live in an urban neighborhood where everyone has pets? And even if you do, what about all the permits that you will need? Will you be able to pursue this type of work at home, and do so legally?

Are you able to face a workday where you have no supervision or guidance? Can you work at home, day after day, without having the people contact that you would typically find "on the job"? When you have overlapping projects, will you be able to cope with the necessary prioritizing so that you get the time-critical job done on time without jeopardizing the next job in line?

Not having inventory also means no leftovers. If the product you sell suddenly becomes outdated, obsolete, or just plain un-trendy, you aren't the one with a house full of stock that nobody will buy. Many online retailers find themselves having to offer deep discounts -- and taking huge losses -- on old products just to get them out of their homes to make room for more inventory!

You'll also don't have to deal with shipping your products. Unless you've already set up a shipping account with someone like FedEx or UPS, you'll be heading down to the post office every day to buy stamps and mail out your products. And you'll be able to ADD NEW PRODUCTS ALMOST INSTANTLY. Since you don't have to worry about ordering inventory, you can add products to your web site within a few hours.

If you find that your customers are eager to buy a certain product, you can have that item up on your site in almost no time. Finally spend time researching different kinds of products that you might want to sell. The products you choose should be in demand but not widely available online. As usual, I highly recommend targeting a niche market rather than trying to find a product that EVERYONE wants to buy.

Once you've found a product that you think may be the right one for your business, you'll need to do a little "competitive analysis." This simply means finding out what potential competitors are charging for the products you want to sell and calculating how much of a profit you'll be able to make. When it comes down to it...its all about 'Testing, Testing, Testing!'

The big question of course is: Can you make a nice profit in this business? What are the angles? Let's have a look.

If you look around on the internet with the eye of a marketeer, a few things are pretty obvious. First of all, (and you don't have to be a marketeer to notice this one) there are a lot of very poorly made websites.

Second of all, there are a lot of good websites that are not being monetized properly. They look good, they get a decent amount of visitors, but they just don't implement enough money making angles.

If you are incorporated, you can eliminate these "impulse purchases" by including in your by-laws a clause that states: "All purchasing decisions over (a certain amount) are contingent upon approval by the board of directors."
